Thank You

Good morning,
And what a lovely morning it is here on the Isle of Man.  We have blue skies and sunshine - for now!
I'd like to say a big 'Thank You' to everyone who regularly reads my blog posts.  I can't quite believe it but as of this week  I've had over 10,000 pageviews on here.  I'm so pleased.
I only started blogging back in January this year, and when I started I had no idea how many people would want to read it, if any, let alone become Followers.  It's great to have you all on board and be able to share my crafting journey with you.  I love reading all the comments you leave, you're all very kind.  I try to visit each and every one of you at some point,  as it's nice to see what you're up to, you're all such a talented bunch!

Today's post is another short and sweet one I'm afraid.  I have a confession to make ....... I haven't been in my craft room since Tuesday, and that was only to tidy my ribbons (not doing that again for a while, it took all afternoon!).  I've been a little busy with Mr Grey - yes, I'm afraid I'm one of the many that's reading this 'naughty' book - well, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
I must say I can't put it down.  Even the call of new craft products arriving with each mornings post doesn't have any effect (must be a good book!!).

I do have a card to share with you today. It's another birthday card that I made for my other half.  Again, it was a last minute thing so nothing too complicated  ........
Not my usual sort of thing, but it was a nice quick and easy card to make.  And it suits Stephen perfectly,  as he used to be a professional Poker player until he got this job in the Isle of Man.  Now he works for the biggest online Poker site, and just plays in casinos for fun - if that's what you can call it!!
I will say that I didn't come up with the original idea, I got this from a website, or possibly a blog, but unfortuantely I can't for the life if me think where.  If anyone knows where the design came from please let me know then I can give credit where it's due.

I said it was short and sweet.  I'm off to help a friend unpack in her new home today, so no craft and no book!
I'm hoping to get back in the craft room tomorrow I have some things I need to get started.
I will be back later though with some of the full pictures of my DT samples I sent off to Craftwork Cards last week.  They were showcased on the CWC Blog yesterday.  If anyone would like to check them out you'll find them here along with great designs from the rest of the DT.

Must dash, see you all again later,

Linda

What a great card, love it, would be ideal for my hubby and BIL too as they both play poker on TV/internet and my Hubby watches or records lots of poker programme. he is not a high roller though, was given a £30 voucher for Sky poker for his 60th Birthday as is now 64 and has £80 odd pounds, so your hubby would probably laugh at him.

I read all three books in the "Mr Grey" series, hard to put down, I read all 3 in a week..... my husband kept saying "must be a good book"... they helped me thru an injury when I couldn't walk around. :)
